BioMar Chile announces Derek Kohn as managing director

Feed solution company, BioMar has appointed Derek Kohn as managing director for its Chilean division. 

Kohn will start his new role by November 2023, joining BioMar Chile to continue providing feed solutions to salmon farmers in the country.

“We firmly believe that close collaboration between us, as feed solutions provider, and our customers will be a significant catalyst in bringing the next generation of sustainable salmon products to market. I am confident that Derek will be able to further develop these vital relationships, at the same time, build a strong organisation around our shared purpose and values”, said Paddy Campbell VP, salmon division, BioMar Group.

“I look forward to working together with the team in Chile, as well as meeting colleagues from abroad and contributing to furthering our commitment to sustainable and innovative aquaculture development,” said Kohn who has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions within the salmon farming industry.
